missiles and moons

Last night was a full lunar eclipse! Yes, and though a lot of people couldn't view it because of cloud cover, I was fortunate. It started around 8.30 really, and was visible until around 11.30 when it got very cloudy here... It is the last one until 2010.

Also want to note that they (the U.S. gov't) hit the satellite.... They aren't sure yet if they hit the fuel tank, which was the purpose of launching the missile, but said that they should know in the next couple of days, and the debris from the satellite should enter in the next 40 days, though it will burn up upon entry. I still question how all of this will work out, it can't be good for out atmosphere/galxing to have missiles and satellites and shit... I always wonder what the consequences are going to be...
